Back on Track
Went a little off kilter the last couple of months. A week away in Spain was followed by the flu which resulted in pretty bad Bronchitis. Then the holidays. Honestly, while I was sick all I wanted was something fast/quick to put in the oven and since I was overloaded with prescription cough syrups (Codeine then Hydrocodone … ) I was pretty much out of it for a couple weeks.
However, it is January, the bronchitis is gone, less a minor cough that is persisting and I am back at it.
I have found that I kept much more in tune with my Paleo/Clean Eating when I was posting daily updates of my meals. Might be boring to the rest of you, but the log helps keep me accountable.
On that note, lets start the count once again with
Day 1:
Cardio:
- Switched Sunday’s Long run with today’s supposed rest day. Got in a 8.33km LSD run a couple hours after lunch. Due to it being a run >1 hr post-run and next meal carbs were boosted.
Breakfast:
- Cantalope (~2 Cups)
- Coffee (w/ Cream & Sugar)
Lunch:
- “Taco” Salad (Romaine Lettuce, Green Peppers, Celery, Homeade Bacon bits, Ground beef)
- Coffee (w/ Cream & Sugar)
- Water (2 cups)
During/Post-Run:
- Gatorade
- Banana
Dinner:
- Leftover “Ancestor’s Meatloaf”
- Sweet Potato Fries w/ EVOO (“Recipe” below)
- Water (3 Cups)
